Welcome, I’m Jammi.

Leadership coach,
Yoga nidra guide, Feminist,
Rest rebel

I help you discover that rest isn't selfish. It's revolutionary.  We’ll re-route your superpowers to move from good girl to rule breaker - a spell that needs breaking.

I work with women who are everyday leaders - women like you who have burned everything down (or watched it ignite), thrown everything away, or watched the life they created and thought they’d enjoy evaporate like a puff of smoke.

You’re in good company. You’re not stuck here forever. Through coaching, retreats, and sacred practices, we'll reclaim your rhythm and find the magic that lives in your pause.

This is your invitation to color outside the lines, rest rebelliously, and discover the MAGIC that lives in the pause.

I'M JAMMI, YOUR REST COACH AND PROFESSIONAL NAPPER

My journey from burnout through activism to embodied rebellion

Ten years ago, I thought caring for the world meant sacrificing myself.  As a highly sensitive empath, I was amazing at knowing what everyone else needed- an exhausting myself trying to give it to them.

I collapsed under the weight of trying to ‘save the world’, dealing with grief, physical breakdown, and crushing guilt that rest was somehow selfish.

That’s when I discovered the truths that changed everything; rest doesn’t stop real change - it’s the foundation.  When I finally gave myself permission to rest deeply, everything shifted.  I found my voice, my boundaries, and my power.

My work is like therapy’s cool cousin who stays home with her bestie’s on Saturday night dancing to records, reading poetry to the moon, and sleeping on the screen porch with wild tea concoctions, their favorite romantasy novel, and a secret snack stash by their sides.

The wild rest rebellion begins with me.

Rest with me

LET’S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER A LITTLE BIT BETTER

  • LEADERSHIP COACH, REST REBEL, YOGA NIDRA GUIDE, FEMINIST

I am a Leadership Coach; reader; gatherer; lover of words, portals, rocks, plants, gal-pals, my husband, sweet pup, oracle cards, ritual and good questions. Books, deep conversations, and acts of service are my love languages. I have a degree in Communications and had a career in Non-Profit Management & special events. I use my training in Transpersonal Life Coaching, Grief Tending and Daring to Rest Yoga nidra, in combination with a life degree in self-development and feminist politics, to create gatherings that encourage women to deepen their relationship to enoughness.  I joyously create events, experiences, and a life where everyone feels welcome.

Here is my alphabet for the so-inclined:

E/INTJ and a eldest daughter HSP.  Enneagram 3, Slytherin, Manifesting Generator, Cancer with an Aquarius moon and Scorpio rising.  I am a North Dakotan at heart (but not politics) with a degree in Communication, Gen Xer, spiritual archetype: alchemist, psychological archetype: seeker.  Numerology 1 = Pioneer.  Leadership style: clarifier.

I am a lifelong recipient of holistic medicine, if it exists, I’ve probably received it!  Ask me for a referral.  I am sensitive to energy and my strongest intuitive sense is feeling - I am like a human lie-detector. I’ve learned to let go of hyper-alertness and scanning the environment by grounding my own energetic boundaries.

I am a cis, white, feminist and an aggressive progressive.  I actively participate in Mutual aid (ask me how to participate), and continually work to make my feminism intersectional and inclusive.  I have been married to my mellow airline Captain husband for nearly 30 years, and have a 4 year old Australian Shepherd pup we call Zephi (her real name is Persephone Queen of the Underworld).

Life Soundtrack Song: “Walk Don’t Walk” by Prince.

  • I believe in human rights and equality for all (and I mean all).  I believe in choice and that the government has no place in my body.  I believe that there is no one path to God / universe / source / energy, and I believe in something larger than ourselves connecting us.

I practice being deeply connected to my inner world, my intuition, and rooted in the paradox of my imperfect humanness.

My practices are informed by my study of the moon, the Jungian Heroine’s Journey (by Maureen Murdock), transpersonal and shamanc practices, herbology, holistic and energetic healing, a desire for embodiment and direct divine connection.

I believe we are enough, just by being, and that my life’s work is to claim my power, and bring along as many women as I can to their own truth.  No more societal norms, cultural conditioning, religious constraints, or worrying about do I know enough, what will people think, and seeking approval from anything other than your own soul.

It’s my job to dismantle white supremacy, the patriarchy and inequality in myself and where I see it.

Rest has always been defined in my belief system – but I only identified with tired.  Now I know that nourishing rest is part of my health remedy; it’s needed and necessary.

  • I’m a READER.  All caps intended.  I’m also incredibly passionate about self-discovery with a magnifying glass on what is for women.  Not generalized self-help, I want empowering and transformative words that speak to the unique challenges that we as women face - strategies, guidance, and inspiration for navigating what it is that we are living.

So that we can rest in our enoughness.  Permission - please!  Inspiration - yes!

I’m constantly curating a list of books to support personal growth and your own well-being, because you aren’t broken, late or behind.  We can all use some inspiration to feel enough right where we are.

    These books might:

    • Quiet self-doubt

    • Get you unstuck

    • Unhook from external approval

    • Unlearn good girl habits (patriarchy, societal, religious, cultural layers)

    • Inspire new permissions or re-write the rules

    • Light the path back home to yourself

    • Encourage rest

A woman standing barefoot on a dirt trail in a wooded area, wearing a long black button-up dress with her hands in her pockets, surrounded by lush greenery.

I lived a life that was in reaction to exhaustion.  I spent most of my life in some state of tired.  As a child; high alert, vigilant, parentified.  As a teen / young adult; over-responsible, over-compensating and never a pause or a break.

I spent my 30’s trying to get a handle on food sensitivities and grief from multiple miscarriages and the loss of my daughter at birth, and my 40’s with deep soul and physical exhaustion from political upheaval, illness, injury, and the passing of family, friends and my beloved dog in a very short time.

My sleep has never been restful.  As an adult sleepwalker and self-proclaimed “night owl”, rest from sleep was a dance that I never really learned all the steps.  I stayed awake to try to get to all the things I ‘wanted’ to do until late into the night and then woke up late and groggy and started each day with a feeling of exhaustion.

Rest felt like a melancholic invitation to surrender – or a last resort because my body felt like yuck.

Rest is rebellion. Spaciousness is sacred. Magic lives in the pause.

Often, forced rest was an answer to all the times I chose to try and push through, continuing a well-worn path of over-functioning to collapse.

I have had several breakthroughs with rest: co-regulating with my calm, mellow, centered husband; working on a sleep hygiene plan with p.m. and a.m. rituals, the practice of surrender, until the full experience of discovering Yoga nidra combined with intuitive flow.

I first found Yoga nidra during a frightful night during the pandemic lockdowns.  In the middle of the night, a recorded voice got me out of my head, out of my swirling thoughts, and in touch with my body.  Then and now I can feel my soul settle and snuggle into my chest.

Rest is the strategy to feeling enough - not a reward for doing all the things *just right*.

If you’re done being a chameleon, a shapeshifter, a thermometer for everyone else’s needs and emotions, stay close. I speak to hearts like yours.  I’m a blend of mentoring, spiritual psychology, and playful rest.

You’ve already had daily courage to get to where you are.  What would it feel like to hit the easy button
